The prices at ‘Y Garth 5* boutique B & B’ offer real value for money and are based on two people sharing a double/twin bedded room and include Joyce's renowned breakfasts. From £80 per room our rates are very competitive with guest houses and hotels in the area with lower star ratings.
Single occupancy: We regret we have no single rooms at Y Garth but at certain times of the year we can offer a single occupancy rate. Please enquire.
There is a minimum stay of 2 nights over all bank holiday weekends.
Deposits and payments: Reservations may be confirmed by telephone or email, and subsequent receipt of a deposit, which can be paid by debit card (credit card and business card payments are welcome but will incur a 2% surcharge). Please note that cheques will no longer be accepted due to the cheque guarantee card scheme closing in the UK. Room Accounts may be settled on departure by debit or credit card as above, or cash.
We respectfully remind guests that a reservation constitutes a contract between themselves and ‘Y Garth’. For telephone or e-mail bookings we require a non-refundable deposit (unless cancelled 4 weeks or more prior to your arrival date) equivalent to the value of the first nights stay to secure your reservation.
For on-line bookings terms vary with the website used to make the booking, most will require full payment on booking.
BOOKING CONDITIONS
It is always useful to know your expected time of arrival (please phone or email information); preferred check-in times are between 4pm and 8pm - earlier or later check-in can be arranged with prior notice. If you are delayed in arriving or expect to arrive after 8p.m., please do let us know as soon as you are able. Special arrangements in place for late night ferry crossings. Take afternoon tea with home-made cake served in our guest sitting room or on the patio for guests arriving between 4.00 and 5.00p.m.
Guests are asked to vacate their rooms by 10a.m. on the day of departure.
We reserve the right to charge for replacement, cleaning or repair of any item belonging to the house, damaged either willfully or because reasonable precautions have not been taken.
We reserve the right to amend our tariff without notice.
We are sorry but we are unable to take children under the age of 14 years or dogs. We apologise for this inconvenience.
Please note: This is our family home and we do ask guests to respect this. Y Garth operates a strict no-smoking policy.
CANCELLATION POLICY
For telephone bookings, deposits are fully refundable if you cancel more than 4 weeks prior to your arrival date. For on-line bookings full payment may be required on booking, please check Terms and Conditions of the providers website.
Cancellation charges: If you cancel up to 4 weeks before your arrival date – deposit only. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date, you will be liable for the total amount. Every effort will be made to re-let the room and adjust the charge accordingly.
If you do not cancel, but fail to arrive for the whole or any part of the period booked, or leave the accommodation prematurely, you will still be charged for the total amount.
