Double/Twin Rooms

The prices at ‘Y Garth 5* Gold boutique B & B’ offer real value for money and are based on two people sharing a double/twin bedded room and include Joyce's renowned breakfasts (AA Breakfast Award 2012/13). From £85 per room our rates are very competitive with guest houses and hotels in the area with lower star ratings. Please phone for out of season offers.

Single occupancy: We regret we have no single rooms at Y Garth but at certain times of the year we can offer a single occupancy rate. Please enquire.

There is a minimum stay of 3 nights over all bank holiday weekends.

Deposits and payments: Reservations may be confirmed by telephone or email, and subsequent receipt of a deposit, which can be paid by UK debit card (credit card, business card and non UK debit card payments are welcome but will incur a 2% surcharge)or BACS.  Please note that cheques will no longer be accepted. Room Accounts may be settled on departure by debit or credit card as above, or cash.

We respectfully remind guests that a reservation constitutes a contract between themselves and ‘Y Garth’. We require a non-refundable deposit equivalent to the value of the first nights stay to secure your reservation.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

It is always useful to know your expected time of arrival (phone, email or text information); preferred check-in times are between 4pm and 9pm.  Should you wish to arrive earlier, to park or drop off luggage, please let us know in advance as the house is normally closed between 11am and 4pm unless otherwise agreed - earlier or later check-in can be arranged with prior notice. If you are delayed in arriving or expect to arrive after 9pm, please do let us know as soon as you are able. Special arrangements in place for late night ferry crossings.

Guests are asked to vacate their rooms by 11am during their stay to allow us to service the rooms. Check out time is 10.00am on the day of departure. 

We reserve the right to charge for replacement, cleaning or repair of any item belonging to the house, damaged either willfully or because reasonable precautions have not been taken.

We reserve the right to amend our tariff without notice.

We are sorry but we are unable to take children under the age of 14 years or dogs. We apologise for this inconvenience.

Please note: This is our family home and we do ask guests to respect this. Y Garth operates a strict no-smoking policy.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations made less than 14 days notice or failure to arrive for the whole or any part of the period booked with incur the full cost, therefore guests may wish to consider travel insurance. Should you need to cancel, we will do our best to re-let the room and adjust the charge accordingly.
